🏊 Pool party renovation

Westerville • April 3, 2025

Good morning, Westerville. When a renovation transforms a home, it's rarely just about the building itself. Jessica Buss's $2.5 million makeover of her New Albany Country Club residence tells a deeper storyβ€”one where an ex-husband's wife becomes the interior designer, creating distinctive spaces from a navy dining room to a mauve office, all centered around a swimming pool that unites the family in ways the former English garden never could.

Mother Nature has her own renovation plans brewing, with severe storms threatening our area overnight into Thursday. The 10TV Weather Impact team has issued alert days for potentially damaging conditions, so keep those weather alerts enabled while sleeping. Meanwhile, Columbus's park enthusiasts are channeling March Madness energy into Metro Parks Madness, where Highbanks, Inniswood, Blendon Woods, and Scioto Audubon have advanced to the semifinals. Cast your vote by Thursday to crown the region's favorite natural treasure.

🏠 A $2.5 million Ohio renovation creates family haven with pool. Jessica Buss, a New York-based CEO, transformed her 9,380-square-foot New Albany Country Club home into a gathering space for her extended family. Working with her ex-husband's wife Stephanie as interior designer, Buss created distinctive spaces including a navy dining room, music room honoring family's love of music, and a mauve "girly" office. The renovation centered around adding a swimming pool visible from every room, replacing the formal English garden that originally occupied the U-shaped rear of the home.
