Good morning, Vinton County. Mark your calendar for November 12th—the region's biggest business showcase is coming to Chillicothe's Triple Crown Sports Center. Over 60 local enterprises will gather under one roof at the Chamber's 2025 Business Expo, offering not just networking opportunities but also complimentary food and door prizes for attendees between 4-7pm. While local businesses prepare their displays, a different kind of mobile operation is addressing rural healthcare challenges across southern Ohio.

The state's first Mobile Medication Units are bringing critical opioid treatment directly to underserved communities, tackling treatment gaps with a $1.7 million federal initiative expected to help 200 people in its first year. On a lighter note, Ohio University's Percussion Club recently transformed familiar movie soundtracks into percussive masterpieces, delighting audiences with student-arranged medleys from "Star Wars" to "Pirates of the Caribbean"—complete with theatrical sword fights that had everyone smiling.
