Good morning, Vinton County. The nostalgic glow of arcade screens has returned to Athens as The Star Chamber Arcade lights up Court Street with 70+ vintage and modern games. Owner Nick Muntean traveled an astounding 16,500 miles collecting everything from "Galaga" to "Ms. Pac-Man," creating a unique $7-10 hourly entertainment alternative that serves both ice cream and adult beverages—a welcome addition to the local nightlife scene that appeals to everyone from families to college students.

As classic games make their comeback, Bobcats are looking ahead with spring semester planning now underway. Students are meeting with advisors, reviewing DARS reports, and mapping out their academic futures, with veterans like Brady Laux recommending thorough preparation before appointments. Meanwhile, the Honors Tutorial College seeks faculty for three key positions focusing on undergraduate research, tutorial policy, and wellness—opportunities that come with three-credit buy-outs for qualified applicants willing to dedicate about five hours weekly.
