Good morning, Vinton County. Behind every award-winning headline and broadcast lies the dedication of tomorrow's journalists, as demonstrated by WOUB students Ella Hughes and Parker Kopronica. These rising stars just earned prestigious leadership awards for their exceptional work, with Hughes crediting her time on Gridiron Glory and Kopronica preparing to supervise the show's upcoming season. Their recognition highlights how hands-on experience transforms talented students into confident professionals.

Local leadership transitions are making waves beyond campus, with Pike County native Andrew Bauer stepping up as senior operations executive at Adena Pike Medical Center next fall. Meanwhile, Chillicothe businesses traded boardrooms for board games at the Chamber's playfully themed "Game On" awards night, where entrepreneurs like Joshua Walter and David Strickland collected well-deserved honors. Bell Manor's game-inspired decorations set the perfect backdrop for celebrating the visionaries driving our region's economic vitality.
