While these young performers were creating theatrical memories, county commissioners were making decisions of a different sort – approving demolition grants for several historic buildings including the former Sheriff's Office and sections of the McArthur Standard Hardware Store.
Winter's grip may be loosening, but its effects linger in local school calendars. Four districts in our region have exceeded their allotted snow days, forcing creative solutions to make up lost instruction time. Jackson City Schools will utilize remote learning, while Wellston students will be extending their academic year past Memorial Day.
