Good morning, Union County. Half a century after audiences first did the Time Warp, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is getting a monumental celebration right here in our community. The Lucky Banisters and Avalon Theatre are transforming Halloween 2025 into a double-feature extravaganza, complete with a new documentary screening and live shadow cast performance. For longtime fans and curious newcomers alike, those $5 prop bags promise a perfectly interactive evening while supporting local theater.

Our community bids farewell to two remarkable individuals who left indelible marks on Union County. Dan Scheiderer, the dedicated plumber whose red truck became a familiar sight along rural roads, passed away at 83 after five decades of service. Just a day later, 92-year-old Donna Bates, whose music teaching and church organ playing touched countless lives, also departed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to resonate through generations of local musicians.
