Good morning, Union County. Dublin is officially taking its place among Ohio's elite, with World Atlas naming it one of the state's safest small cities. This recognition highlights what locals have long appreciated—low crime rates paired with strong community bonds. Police Chief Justin Páez credits this achievement to the department's professionalism and the supportive partnership with residents, proving that safety truly takes a village (or in this case, a particularly well-run small city).

Meanwhile, Marysville is looking toward the horizon and wants you at the drawing board. The October 20 Community Vision Plan Open House invites everyone to help shape the future of Ohio's fastest-growing county while preserving its small-town charm. Further south, Tantrum Theater marks a decade of artistic excellence in Athens with a bold anniversary season featuring "Inherit the Wind" and "HAIR"—continuing its unique model where professionals and students create theatrical magic side-by-side.

The city's attractions were also featured, including Historic Dublin, the Dublin History Museum, and the iconic Dublin Link pedestrian bridge. Other Ohio cities making the list included Olmsted Falls, Upper Arlington, Perrysburg, Powell, New Albany, Hudson and Chester Township.
