Good morning, Union County. Ohio's restaurants are serving up something extra with dinner these days—ghostly encounters. From Columbus's Elevator Brewery, where a murdered colonel still roams, to Granville's Buxton Inn with its spectral "Lady in Blue" and phantom feline, the state boasts eight eateries where paranormal activity rivals the menu offerings. Perfect timing for those seeking pre-Halloween thrills while dining out—just don't be alarmed if your server isn't the only one checking on your table.

The community continues moving forward with both solemn moments and future opportunities. As we honor the life of Timothy Michael Grimm with services scheduled for this week at Trinity Lutheran Church, Union County manufacturers are preparing to welcome high school seniors to the third annual "Crafted in Union County" showcase on October 23rd. The event highlights career paths in a sector offering average earnings of $70,000 annually, connecting students with professionals in fields ranging from engineering to robotics.
