🔫 Crossfire in Akron claims innocent bystander's life. Police have arrested a second suspect, 23-year-old Imani Thomas, in the fatal shooting of Timothy Hutchinson from Wooster. Thomas joins 24-year-old Deshawn Stafford in facing murder charges after their exchange of gunfire caught the 25-year-old victim in the middle. The shooting has deeply disturbed the Highland Square neighborhood, according to Akron Police Lieutenant Michael Murphy. Notably, Stafford previously served time for the 2022 death of teenager Ethan Liming at the i-Promise School basketball court.

🏭 Industrial giant expands with strategic bearing manufacturer acquisition. Solve Industrial Motion Group has acquired Miller Bearing Company, a US manufacturer specializing in conveyor bearings based in Kent, Ohio. The acquisition strengthens Solve's manufacturing capabilities and complements their existing conveyor roller production in Loveland. CEO Ernie Lauber highlighted how Miller's expertise in conveyor bearings will enhance their solutions for the material handling industry. Since its formation in 2020, Solve has acquired seven brands, establishing itself as a comprehensive provider of bearings and power transmission solutions across North America.
