💸 Business boost brewing

Summit County • March 11, 2025

Good morning, Summit County. A $90,000 boost is headed Akron's way to help local entrepreneurs turn business dreams into reality. The city's selection for the Small Business Boost Initiative connects hometown visionaries with crucial financial counseling through United Way—a program that's already helped Akron residents increase savings by over $3.4 million. This free service tackles the personal finance hurdles that often trip up promising startups before they can truly take flight.

Mother Nature seems equally invested in Summit County's future, delivering an economic forecast of her own with temperatures climbing into the 70s by weekend. While residents enjoy this early spring preview, Bath Township officials are investigating a suspicious mobile home fire that fortunately resulted in no injuries. The contrast between new beginnings and unfortunate endings reminds us that community vigilance and support remain essential through every season of change.
