Good morning, Stark County. Chalk up another win for local education! Sandy Valley Middle School has just earned a prestigious national honor, with its student council being named a 2025 National Council of Excellence. These young leaders aren't just building impressive resumes—they're making real impact through volunteer work and donations to organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, proving that tomorrow's leaders are already hard at work today.

While you might want to pack an umbrella this week as multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms roll through until Saturday, there's plenty to do when the rain pauses. Perhaps a visit to Canton's Classic Car Museum is in order? Beyond housing automotive treasures like a 1937 bulletproof police Studebaker, the recently renovated downtown gem also displays thousands of nostalgic artifacts celebrating local history—from Meyers Lake Amusement Park memorabilia to President McKinley tributes.
