Scioto County • January 31, 2025

Good morning, Scioto County. In a delicious plot twist that would make breakfast purists clutch their coffee mugs, Austin's at The Market is turning the most important meal of the day into a frozen fundraising phenomenon. Their 4th annual Ice Cream For Breakfast event isn't just serving up waffle sundaes and Cereal Killer Shakes - it's scooping up support for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Tri-State, proving that brain freeze can actually warm hearts.

Meanwhile, mythology meets modern theater as The Paramount Players prepare to unleash "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical" in Ashland. And speaking of creative sparks, the Grayson Gallery's "Kicking Off the Arts" event is showcasing 45 regional works, proving that in our corner of Appalachia, artistic ambition burns as bright as Zeus's lightning bolts.
