🩸 Donate to win

Sandusky County • April 4, 2025

Good morning, Sandusky County. As spring break travel season kicks into high gear, the American Red Cross reminds us that blood donations typically dip during this busy time. Local residents can step up at multiple donation sites throughout Ottawa and Sandusky counties in early April—and potentially win one of three $5,000 gift cards just for rolling up their sleeves.

Meanwhile, the Tiffin Police Department has something impressive to celebrate—their fourth consecutive Gold Standard Award from Lexipol, highlighting their commitment to professional excellence. And if you're dreaming of a unique getaway as warmer weather approaches, look no further than SōLSTAY in Sandusky, where floating houseboats and waterfront cottages offer a luxury Lake Erie experience complete with rooftop hot tubs and water activities just minutes from Cedar Point.
