🏥 Chillicothe and Green Township team up for major medical development. The Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) agreement will allow both governments to share tax revenue from a planned Cohen medical complex along US 23. Chillicothe will receive 5% of gross tax revenue and 12.5% of net revenue while providing water and sewer utilities to the 46-acre parcel. The development will begin with a state-of-the-art surgery center across from Adena Regional Medical Center. Councilman Dan Demint highlighted job creation as the biggest benefit, calling the JEDD the best way to capitalize on Columbus's southward expansion.
