⛽ Ohio drivers hit with gas price hike for second week. Average regular fuel prices in the state rose to $3.07 per gallon on Monday, up from $3.03 last week. The increase continues a trend that has seen prices climb about 7 cents over the past month, though current prices remain 14% lower than a year ago. Ohio motorists are paying slightly less than the national average of $3.14 per gallon. State gas prices have fluctuated significantly over the past year, ranging from a low of $2.75 in March to a high of $3.58 in July.

  • An individual was apprehended for the possession of drugs categorized as Schedule I or II substances and is currently in custody as reported by the county sheriff's office.

  • A person was arrested for illegally conveying drugs of abuse into a mental health facility and is currently in custody, with authorities addressing the situation.

  • Another suspect was charged with theft without consent and for receiving stolen property, and is also in custody after their arrest by the highway patrol. The police are continuing to investigate further details.
