Good morning, Ross County. Excellence is thriving right in our backyard! Four Ohio University regional faculty members have been honored for their exceptional teaching prowess, including our own Greg Obi and Michael Koop from OU Chillicothe. Their remarkable contributions to organizational management and making astronomy accessible demonstrate the caliber of education available right here in our community.

On the diamond, local softball teams are making their final push before tournament season, with Piketon holding the top spot in power rankings despite Chillicothe nipping at their heels. Meanwhile, your wallet might be feeling a bit lighter at the gas pump—Ohio prices have jumped 13 cents in just one week, reaching $3.11 per gallon. The silver lining? We're still paying slightly less than the national average of $3.15, giving us one small victory to celebrate while filling up.
