🔥 Cash on fire

Ross County • February 20, 2025

Good morning, Ross County. Talk about a hot story! When a Brinks truck erupted in flames on U.S. 23 Tuesday afternoon, it gave new meaning to the phrase "burning through cash." While the crew escaped unharmed, the fate of any currency aboard remains as mysterious as what's really in the government's Area 51 files.

Meanwhile, the local crime beat reads like a Hollywood script, from a pre-dawn rampage at Valero that left everything from pizza ovens to slushie machines in ruins, to a 17-incident spree keeping our police force busier than a squirrel at a nut factory. While officers tackle the uptick in mayhem, Ross County residents can take comfort knowing our local law enforcement is as dependable as morning coffee – just with fewer sprinkles and more citations.
