Good morning, Preble County. Fall's golden touch has officially arrived, transforming local cornfields into labyrinths of fun across Ohio. With seven major corn mazes opening their winding paths this month, families can lose themselves in up to 10 acres of agricultural artistry before warming up with hayrides and pumpkin picking. Tom's Maze in nearby Germantown marks an impressive 28-year milestone of creating these seasonal puzzles that have become cherished autumn traditions.

Amid the seasonal festivities, our community faces sobering news. A tragic crosswalk collision in Camden claimed a 51-year-old woman's life Thursday night, with authorities still investigating the circumstances. Meanwhile, Middletown officials continue addressing a cybersecurity breach that may have exposed employee information and disrupted city services. Alternative contact methods have been established for essential departments while the investigation continues into what data may have been compromised.
