🔧 Tragic garage accident claims Arcanum man's life. Mark Angle, 52, died after the vehicle he was working on fell from blocks and pinned him underneath. Family members discovered Angle trapped, managed to jack up the car and pull him free, but he succumbed to his injuries. Darke County Sheriff Deputies, Pitsburg Fire, and Arcanum Rescue responded to the State Route 722 residence following the June 17 incident. The Darke County Coroner has ruled the death accidental.
📅 Monroe Alumni banquet leads packed community calendar of summer events. The 102nd Monroe Alumni Association will host its annual gathering on June 14 at National Trail Cafetorium, with registration starting at 4 p.m. Several road closures will affect Preble County residents, including Pleasant Valley Road (closed for 12 weeks) and Magill Road (closed for 8 weeks).
