The project includes building a pumping station and water tower to address PFAS contamination, with boring work starting in March to determine bedrock depth. While residents along the pipeline route can connect for a fee, officials emphasized no one outside village limits would be forced to use city water. The village must meet grant application deadlines by late March to secure crucial funding for the mandated project.
