Good morning, Powell. Breaking the silence around mental health takes courage, and our community is showing it in spades. The 5th Annual Suicide Prevention & Awareness Walk kicks off September 20th at the Union County Courthouse, offering a powerful way to honor loved ones while supporting prevention efforts. With free registration starting at 9 a.m., participants can create memorial signs and enjoy performances by the Marysville High School Symphonic Choir while connecting with resources that save lives.

The transformative power of art takes center stage in "Precious Rubbish," a graphic novel where Harvard graduate Kayla E. confronts childhood trauma through vibrant illustrations that tell a haunting story of recovery. Meanwhile, music lovers were treated to a cinematic experience as The Backseat Lovers delivered an electrifying performance at Columbus' Newport Music Hall, proving once again that Ohio's indie rock scene continues to thrive with unforgettable live shows.
