ποΈ Robert Oliver's legacy lives on through seven grandchildren. The Marysville resident, who enjoyed video games, fishing, and family vacations, passed away on August 24, 2025, at age 54. Born in 1970, Oliver was preceded in death by his parents and son, but is survived by his daughter Tiffany, three sisters, and numerous relatives. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on his birthday, September 11, at the American Legion in Marion, with Underwood Funeral Home assisting the family.

Twenty-nine local restaurants and two Put-in-Bay bartenders have been nominated for the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance's 2025 Industry Awards.
