🎭 Short North Stage delivers a delightful parody of Golden Age musicals. "The Drowsy Chaperone" combines nostalgia with witty commentary through the character of Man in Chair (Jeremy Scott Blaustein), a theatre fan who brings a fictional 1920s musical to life in his apartment. The production features standout performances from Connor Lyon and Craig Blake, with impressive tap dancing, roller skating, and comedic spit takes. Director Edward Carignan's vibrant staging, alongside Antonio DiBernardo's clever set design, creates seamless transitions between the apartment and the musical world.
