Good morning, Portage County. Urban living is getting a fresh breath of life in Northeast Ohio as Marks Building Co. brings new townhome developments to Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. While for-sale townhomes haven't fully bounced back from pandemic challenges, the rental market is thriving, with five new units under construction on Brevier Avenue and more planned across the street—part of the company's growing portfolio of 14 properties drawn to Cleveland's distinctive architecture and expanding job opportunities.
In local headlines, a drug deal gone wrong has resulted in a 9-12 year sentence for Frank Vetrano after a stabbing incident in Ravenna left a man hospitalized for two weeks. On a more appetizing note, food enthusiasts are celebrating as Kintaro finally opens its sixth location in Woodmere's Village Square, bringing its popular unlimited sushi and hot pot experience to the former Corky & Lenny's space with special grand opening discounts running through November 20.
