Good morning, Portage County. A significant milestone in the battle against addiction has arrived with Townhall II opening its second Medicine-Assisted Treatment clinic in Ravenna. This expansion brings critical recovery services closer to home for many residents who previously struggled with transportation to Kent, offering a powerful combination of medication and counseling to those fighting opioid and alcohol disorders—a thoughtful approach to addressing one of our community's most pressing health challenges.

Academic excellence shines brightly at Chagrin Falls High School, where three seniors have earned National Merit semifinalist status, placing them among just 16,000 students nationwide competing for prestigious scholarships. Meanwhile, Middlefield village has made a forward-thinking investment in the community's future, securing a $1.25 million financing agreement to purchase 58 acres that will provide a reliable water source for generations to come—proof that sometimes the most important infrastructure developments are the ones flowing beneath the surface.
