Good morning, Portage County. A taste of Mexico is coming to the former Geauga Lake amusement park site as restaurateur Jaime Delapaz has purchased over 21 acres of prime real estate in Aurora. The Tulum Mexican Restaurant owner's significant investment adds another flavorful dimension to the ongoing transformation of this nostalgic property, where roller coasters once dominated the landscape but new developments are now taking shape.

Mark your calendars for downtown Ravenna's double feature on July 19, where food trucks will line the streets while treasure hunters embark on the "Only in Ravenna Scavenger Hunt." Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Falls is investing in safety with a $9.3 million overhaul of its 1947-era Fire Station 4. The modernized facility will house twice as many firefighters and include classroom space for up to 50 people, ensuring emergency services continue evolving alongside the community they protect.
