Geoffrey Parker, a 34-year-old ex-Akron police officer, will continue serving 24-28 years for taking nude photos of a 4-year-old girl and posting them online. The 11th District Court of Appeals affirmed his conviction on multiple counts including pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor. Parker, now at Toledo Correctional Institution, was designated a Tier 2 sex offender who must register twice yearly for 25 years after release. The case was only returned to lower court to correct a clerical error.
