Good morning, Portage County. Northeast Ohio is getting a taste of Hollywood sizzle as Gordon Ramsay has been spotted at Cleveland's Fahrenheit restaurant, posing with Chef Rocco Whalen amid swirling rumors he's filming at Lyla's Family Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls. Production crews and equipment have taken over the Bailey Road establishment, which remains closed through Sunday—leaving locals buzzing about which of the celebrity chef's shows might be cooking up in our backyard.

Economic growth is on the horizon as Highland Hills prepares to welcome hundreds of new jobs through a $40 million manufacturing investment. The ambitious 30-acre industrial development will transform the former Cleveland Workhouse penal facility after Cleveland City Council approved its $800,000 sale. While that project takes shape over the next 12-18 months, it's worth noting that despite increased activity at an Akron recruiting center, Governor DeWine's office confirms Ohio's National Guard is not being deployed for upcoming "No Kings" protests.

🪖 Ohio's National Guard is not being deployed for 'No Kings' protests. Governor Mike DeWine's office confirmed no activation has occurred despite increased activity at an Akron recruiting center, which is likely routine training. The protests, scheduled in multiple Ohio cities including Akron, will coincide with a $45 million military parade in Washington D.C. honoring the Army's 250th birthday and President Trump's 79th birthday. Unlike the taxpayer-funded parade featuring tanks and weapons, the "No Kings" demonstrations are citizen-driven protests against what organizers describe as government overreach and corruption.
