Good morning, Pike County. After 170 years of entertaining audiences, the Historic Majestic Theatre in Chillicothe has finally gotten a much-needed roof upgrade. This landmark preservation project, funded by local foundations, is just the latest in a series of improvements ensuring this cultural gem continues to shine for generations to come. While the theater secures its physical future, Ross County is looking ahead in a different way—seeking your input on disaster planning before the November 15 deadline to finalize its 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan.

In the realm of local education success stories, Minford High's broadcasting program has transformed from an extracurricular club to a full-fledged class in just two years. The student-run Minford Media now follows a professional production cycle with upperclassmen taking the lead, creating content that regularly draws hundreds of viewers. It's yet another example of how innovation continues to flourish in our schools despite limited resources.
