The Chillicothe resident's journey through history included service in the U.S. Navy, work with military communications, and time with the CIA, before settling into civilian life where he pursued his passions for HAM radio, fishing, and hunting for spring mushrooms. His legacy lives on through daughter Evie, companion Nancy, sixteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his loyal dog Annie.
Turning back the clock to 1997, a significant transformation was underway at Petland's Chillicothe headquarters. The $1.2 million makeover reached its final stages that February, with construction crews from Ingle Barr putting finishing touches on the new entrance to the Riverside Street facility. This substantial investment represented a pivotal moment for the pet store chain's Ohio operations, cementing its presence in our community nearly three decades ago.
