🚧 ODOT seeks input on Big Run Road bridge project. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 9 is inviting public comments on a proposed bridge replacement on Big Run Road, located in rural Liberty Township, Jackson County. The project, situated at the 3.09-mile mark, will not require any new right-of-way, meaning no homes or businesses will be disrupted. During construction, the road will be closed, with a state detour set up to reroute traffic approximately four miles away. Interested parties can submit their thoughts to ODOT by January 2, 2025, as the project aims for an environmental commitment by May 2025 and a completion date in September 2025.
