Good morning, Pickaway County. Live from Columbus, it's a star-studded culinary revolution! SNL's Kenan Thompson is bringing his creative energy back to his native Columbus with Love Life Columbus, an exclusive dining experience launching August 31. This intimate seven-course dinner promises more than just gourmet cuisine—it's a $250 ticket to meaningful connections and community building in an atmosphere designed to celebrate diversity.

Beyond this high-profile event, Columbus continues to cement its reputation as a food lover's paradise. The city's Latin cuisine scene offers incredible value and authenticity, from Los Guachos' famous $3 al pastor tacos to Barroluco's Argentine specialties. And for commuters, there's sweet relief at last—the new I-270/I-70 flyover ramp is now open, promising smoother travels through one of the area's most congested interchanges. The $76 million project marks a major step forward for regional transportation.

🛣️ Columbus traffic relief arrives with new I-270/I-70 flyover ramp. The Ohio Department of Transportation opened the two-lane structure Saturday, replacing an old loop ramp that caused congestion at the busy interchange. Part of a $76 million project that began in 2022, the flyover crosses both directions of I-270 with dedicated lanes for I-70 East and Brice Road access. The improvement aims to reduce weaving and merging that contributed to traffic backups, with ODOT Deputy Director Toni Turowski calling it "a major step toward reducing congestion and improving traffic flow for years to come." Additional improvements include a new lane on I-70 eastbound and reconfigured ramps to enhance safety.
