⚖️ Judge blocks Trump's political strings attached to city grants. A federal court ruled in favor of Columbus and other local governments, preventing the Trump administration from enforcing new ideological conditions on billions in federal funding. Judge Barbara Rothstein expanded an earlier injunction to protect grants from multiple departments including Housing, Transportation, and Health Services. The ruling ensures cities can receive congressionally-approved funding without agreeing to conditions like bans on diversity programs. "This decision means we can continue vital funding without being held hostage to an extreme political agenda," said a Columbus official.

🍷 Live music meets award-winning wine at Manchester Hill this Saturday. Kingston Kings, a cousin duo known for their interactive performances, will bring their acoustic covers and original music to the family-owned winery from 7-9 p.m. with free admission. Manchester Hill Winery, established in 2011, produces handcrafted wines and hard ciders that have won national and international awards. The venue offers indoor and outdoor seating, welcomes families and pets, and features a seasonal food truck serving woodfired pizza and BBQ. Visitors can enjoy the full experience this Saturday, August 16, with operating hours Thursday through Sunday.
