Pickaway County • August 1, 2025
Good morning, Pickaway County. Columbus is strategically repositioning its tourism footprint as Experience Columbus prepares to leave its 18-year Arena District home for vibrant new digs in the Short North. The move to The Joseph building places the organization at the beating heart of one of the city's most dynamic neighborhoods, with 3,800 square feet of retail space to welcome visitors discovering what makes central Ohio special.
The region's food scene continues its remarkable evolution with not one but two sweet developments. Parlor Doughnuts is bringing its creative flavors like French Toast and Turtle Cheesecake to Lewis Center on August 9, just months after opening in Powell. Meanwhile, beloved local popsicle brand Rime Time begins a new chapter with new owners Anique and Ali Russell, who've promised fans that "absolutely nothing" will change about the frozen treats that have become a community staple over the past decade.
