Good morning, Pickaway County. Downtown Circleville is buzzing with anticipation as 2025's packed event calendar promises to transform our community spaces into hubs of activity. From the return of monthly First Fridays beginning May 2 to quirky celebrations like the Mrs. Roper Crawl and Christmas in July Sidewalk Sales, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area adds another dimension to the downtown experience, allowing visitors to sip while they stroll Thursday through Saturday.

While community festivities are ramping up, Circleville police officers demonstrated their commitment to public safety with 26 calls in a single action-packed day on April 22. From domestic disturbances to traffic enforcement and welfare checks, these officers navigated a complex array of situations, including a significant incident on Tarlton Road requiring fire department assistance. Their responsive presence continues to be the backbone of our community's security as downtown prepares for its busiest season yet.
