🚚 Heavyweight delight

Pickaway County • February 27, 2025

Good morning, Pickaway County. Move over, wide loads - there's a new heavyweight champion rolling through Ohio. A mind-boggling 610,470-pound industrial dryer is about to embark on an epic three-day journey that'll make your morning commute look like a casual stroll. This mechanical behemoth, stretching longer than a Boeing 747, is headed to Sofidel's Circleville plant as part of a $185 million expansion that promises to add 100 new jobs to our community.

Meanwhile, PICCA's heartwarming story of transformation continues as Jonna Motter steps into the executive director role - proving that sometimes life comes full circle in the most beautiful ways. From Head Start parent to organization leader, her journey embodies the very mission she now oversees. And while these positive changes unfold, our local police force has been keeping the peace through 24 hours that proved anything but peaceful.
