Good morning, Muskingum County. October's compassionate spirit is on full display as blue doughnuts take center stage at Donald's Donuts, where every azure-frosted treat purchased through October 8 directly supports Miles' Mission and families facing the unimaginable pain of infant loss. This sweet act of community kindness arrives alongside Tri-Valley High School's upcoming military appreciation night, where service members past and present will receive free entry to honor their sacrifices—including a special tribute to Sgt. Bradley J. Harper.

Royalty and roaring engines dominate the weekend ahead as Meadowbrook High School prepares to crown their homecoming court on October 10, complete with parades, decorated hallways, and the traditional dance. Meanwhile, tractor enthusiasts are revving up for the October 11 benefit pull at Bud Hawk Arena in Bakersville, where competitors 16 and older will test their machines' might while raising funds for Ben Hostetler—transforming horsepower into hope for a neighbor in need.
