Good morning, Muskingum County. A creative renaissance is blooming across our community this season. Timber & Grace, New Concord's newest home décor destination, has opened its doors on Fritter Road, offering everything from repurposed furniture to specialty paints for DIY enthusiasts. The Knabb family's venture promises to add a "creative touch" to homes throughout the region, giving interior design dreams a place to take root.
Meanwhile, traditions both old and new are flourishing around us. Millersport's Sweet Corn Festival Parade delighted spectators with corn-hat-wearing bankers and patriotic five-year-olds, while downtown Zanesville prepares for a culinary transformation as the beloved Old Market House Inn evolves into Market Street Prime. Owner Jim Cappano's vision blends affordability with upscale dining options in a space where history and modernity converge – right down to the surprise historical mural uncovered during renovations.
