The pre-dawn quiet was shattered on Otsego Avenue Monday when a Coshocton man's vehicle veered off the road and collided with a utility pole around 5:39 a.m. Robert Selders, 55, was transported to Genesis Hospital following the crash, which brought emergency responders rushing to the scene in the early morning darkness. While one resident faces recovery, the community faces a more urgent situation.

A desperate search has mobilized across Zanesville for 16-year-old Javaughn Wheeler, who vanished after leaving his Somers Street home on foot July 6th. Last seen wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts, the teenager's whereabouts remain unknown despite ongoing police efforts. The Zanesville Police Department is urging anyone with information to call 740-455-0700, as every passing hour heightens concern for the missing teen's safety.

🚗 Pre-dawn crash sends Coshocton man into utility pole. Robert Selders, 55, lost control of his vehicle on Otsego Avenue around 5:39 a.m. on July 8. His car veered off the left side of the road, went over a small embankment, and collided with a utility pole. Selders was transported to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville with unspecified injuries. Emergency responders from Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton Fire Department, and Prince's Wrecker Service assisted at the scene.

🚨 A desperate search is underway for a missing Zanesville teen. Sixteen-year-old Javaughn Wheeler left his Somers Street home on foot the evening of July 6 and hasn't returned. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts. The Zanesville Police Department is asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them or Detective Sergeant Phil Michel directly. Community members are encouraged to call 740-455-0700 with any leads about the missing teenager.

🔍 A teenage boy vanished after leaving his Ohio home Sunday. Javaughn Wheeler, 16, was last seen departing his Somers Street residence in Zanesville wearing a red t-shirt and black shorts. Police report no contact has been made with Wheeler since he left on foot on July 6th. The Zanesville Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating the missing juvenile.
