Muskingum County • March 14, 2025
Good morning, Muskingum County. A $350,000 investment is breathing new life into a Zanesville institution as Kessler Sign Company expands its 50,000-square-foot facility and creates four new jobs. Since 1979, this local business has been crafting the visual identity of our region, and now—with support from JobsOhio and local economic development partners—they're positioning themselves to reach even larger markets with increased production capacity and cutting-edge equipment.
Spring renewal extends beyond business this week, with Lake Park's annual Clean-Up Day approaching on April 5th. While volunteers prepare to transform our cherished green space with gardening tools and community spirit, travelers passing through on I-70 are discovering Muskingum County's newest welcome mat—a revitalized rest area complete with rocking chairs, dog trails, and showcases of local attractions from the Y Bridge to the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks. Both initiatives highlight how our county continues to grow while honoring its natural beauty and rich heritage.
