Good morning, Montgomery County. The future is being built right here in Dayton, with local AI firm Mile Two securing a game-changing $9.3 million Air Force contract. This significant partnership with Wright-Patterson AFB positions the Dayton-based defense contractor to bring their artificial intelligence solutions to the multi-billion dollar federal marketplace, underscoring our region's growing importance in the intersection of technology and national security.

While medieval fantasy enthusiasts prepare for the second annual May Moon Fest transforming Oregon Express into a Renaissance Faire experience on May 24, residents should also prepare for more immediate changes in the forecast. Severe thunderstorms are expected to roll through Southwest Ohio Tuesday afternoon, arriving alongside positive news from the state's missing persons report, which shows decreasing numbers for 2024. The housing market continues its resilient performance with over 121,000 homes sold statewide—a small but meaningful 1.1% increase from last year.
