Good morning, Meigs County. The American justice system's core principle of "innocent until proven guilty" played out dramatically in Jackson County, where Stephen Doll was acquitted of all child abuse charges after a jury highlighted inconsistencies in testimony. This case reminds us how courtroom proceedings can transform lives in mere hours, with Doll's family experiencing profound emotional relief following the verdict that maintained his innocence.

Our region continues to cultivate both economic opportunity and personal talent. The Polymer Alliance Zone welcomes veteran business leader Pat Ford, whose three decades of development expertise promises to advance manufacturing across ten West Virginia counties. Meanwhile, faith and musical ability harmonize beautifully in 17-year-old Davey Brooks' life – the Parkersburg homeschooled graduate balances church piano performances with Chick-Fil-A work while pursuing computer science at WVU Parkersburg, demonstrating how passion and purpose can guide young careers.
