Meigs County • January 14, 2025
Good morning, Meigs County. They say the best career advice often comes from those who've just walked the path you're about to take. That's exactly what's happening at WOUB's upcoming "Mindful Media" panel, where five recent grads are stepping back through their old newsroom doors to share hard-won wisdom about navigating the wild world of journalism. And speaking of creative career paths, Ravenswood's art scene is about to level up with a new gallery that's calling all creatures - both the artistic and literal kinds.
Meanwhile, Mother Nature's getting a much-needed boost as the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio pours $162,000 into conservation efforts. From protecting endangered salamanders to cultivating the next generation of environmental stewards, it seems our corner of Appalachia is determined to keep both its arts and its wilderness thriving.
