Good morning, Marion County. Mark your calendars! Downtown Marion's beloved 3rd Thursdays are making their triumphant return this summer with an expanded lineup that promises something for everyone. From May through September, families can enjoy free bounce houses, sample delicious offerings from food trucks like B-ONE BBQ, and groove to live performances from Uprising and Left of Center. Each month brings a fresh theme, ensuring the downtown streets remain vibrant throughout the season.

The curtain is rising on an entirely different kind of entertainment at the Palace Theatre this August. "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" transforms audience members into guests at the ultimate Italian-American celebration, complete with dinner and all the wedding drama you could hope for. At just $49 per ticket, this immersive theatrical experience offers the perfect blend of comedy, cuisine, and culture—no gift required, though we can't promise you won't catch the bouquet.

🎡 Downtown Marion's 3rd Thursdays return with summer fun for all. The popular event kicks off May 15th and continues monthly through September with an expanded lineup of attractions. Families can enjoy FREE bounce houses and inflatables from MaxAiir Party Rentals, plus food trucks including The Main St. Food Tent and B-ONE BBQ. Live music features Uprising on August 21st and Left of Center on September 18th, alongside Downtown Marion's 50/50 raffle. Each month offers a special theme, with August focused on "Back to School" and September celebrating "BBQ."

✊ Marion protesters rally for "Good Trouble Lives On" day of action. About two dozen demonstrators gathered outside the Marion County Courthouse on July 17, holding signs and wearing costumes to participate in the national event. Morrow County resident Joelyn Lanning joined the protest for her grandchildren, saying she doesn't expect issues to be resolved in her lifetime. Michael Grubbs represented No Small Act, an organization aiming to connect progressive groups in Marion County. The rally attracted participants like Jim Clark, who plans to join protests throughout the year.
