Good morning, Jackson County. As autumn arrives, so do new opportunities for seniors in our community. Starting September 8th, free Tai Chi classes at the Gallia County Senior Center will offer adults 60+ a gentle way to improve balance, reduce pain, and connect with others. These evidence-based sessions could be the perfect antidote to seasonal changes, with limited spots available for the twice-weekly classes running through October.

On the economic front, local businesses are getting a significant boost with $22,000 in grants fueling growth across the county. Willis Advantage Property Solutions is expanding beyond its home-based origins with a $17,000 investment, while Henderson's Arena received $5,000 for facility upgrades that help attract visitors to our area. These developments, part of a billion-dollar regional investment initiative since 2011, demonstrate how local enterprises continue to strengthen Jackson County's economic foundation.
