Throughout her journey, she engaged in hands-on agricultural experiences, explored ancient landmarks, and learned about sustainable farming practices. 🫁 Parents transform asthma tragedy into life-saving mission. After losing their 28-year-old son Reid to a severe asthma attack in 2020, Mary and Glenn Wiley partnered with the American Lung Association to help others with the disease. Despite managing his asthma since childhood and always carrying his inhaler, Reid's life was cut short by the chronic condition that affects over 900,000 Ohioans. The Wileys are hosting a golf tournament on May 12 to raise funds for school training, emergency asthma medication, and student backpacks. "Although ours had a tragic ending, it doesn't have to be like that," Mary said.
