Good morning, Holmes County. Nature's vibrant classroom is opening its doors at Clary Gardens this summer, inviting young explorers to discover everything from woodland wonders to fascinating birds of prey. For just $1 per child, Tuesday adventures await with the "Exploring Colors of Nature" program—complete with special appearances by Midwest Falconry's magnificent birds on June 3. These hands-on experiences create the environmental stewards of tomorrow while offering families affordable summer enrichment.

Across town, achievement takes center stage as Buckeye Career Center awards $2,500 scholarships to 23 deserving students across 16 different labs. Since 1998, the Foundation has invested over $1 million in tomorrow's skilled workforce. Meanwhile, for those navigating Sugarcreek Township, take note—Justus Avenue SW closes for 12 days starting Monday for essential sanitary work. The detour might add minutes to your commute, but the infrastructure improvements benefit the community long-term.

🥎 Softball Scoreboard

West Holmes outlasted Wooster in a wild 10-9 barnburner that had more twists than a pretzel factory. The Knights improved to 5-7 with the narrow victory, while the Generals dropped to 2-9 in what can only be described as softball's version of a heart attack. These rivals won't have to wait long for the rematch, as they'll face off again Thursday in what promises to be another nail-biter.
