Howard, who began as a park ranger at Caesar Creek State Park in 2020, tackled the trail in sections ranging from 10-20 miles, persisting through extreme weather conditions. Though she hiked some portions alone, she shared much of the experience with a community of 25-30 fellow hikers, citing the trail community as what she'll miss most about the journey.
