Good morning, Hocking County. The ancient walls of Ash Cave are about to resonate with orchestral magic once again. Mark your calendars for June 15, when the Columbus Symphony Orchestra returns to this natural amphitheater for their fourth consecutive performance. Those who've experienced this unique blend of classical music and natural acoustics know why parking passes sell out faster than concert tickets at Madison Square Garden.

While music fills one corner of our community, inspiring acts of service echo in another. The annual Tunnel to Towers 5K recently raised an impressive $50,000 to support families of fallen first responders. Started by Lezlee Armes after losing her firefighter husband Jeff in 2021, this race transforms personal tragedy into community strength. With 150 participants this year, it's a powerful reminder of how Hocking County shows up when it matters most.

Participants included retired police officer Bob Heddleston, who has attended Tunnel to Towers events in multiple cities and plans to join the 25th anniversary race in New York City.
