Good morning, Hamilton County. The calendar may say October, but tensions are running hotter than a summer day in Cincinnati as Mayor Pureval hints at "significant changes" that could include firing Police Chief Teresa Theetge amid rising crime concerns. This potential leadership shake-up comes despite Theetge's innovative programs and successful funding initiatives during her 22-month tenure as the city's first female police chief. Meanwhile, for those seeking spine-tingling rather than spine-chilling news, Covington's popular Spooky Secrets Tour is returning with five dates of haunted tales across Northern Kentucky's most notorious paranormal hotspots.

In brighter news, ten exceptional women are receiving well-deserved recognition as the Cincinnati Business Courier announces its 2025 Women Who Mean Business honorees. This prestigious annual celebration highlights female leaders making remarkable contributions to our region's business landscape—a tradition that has previously identified talent worthy of national attention. From haunted walking tours to business accolades, Hamilton County continues to showcase both its spirited past and promising future.
